The Company

We are partnering with The Solar House Sdn. Bhd. (TSH), a Malaysian company specializing in providing comprehensive solar photovoltaic (PV) services, including consultancy, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems.

As a Safety Supervisor, you will ensure that all site activities comply with Malaysian safety regulations and the company's internal standards. This role supports client confidence by maintaining rigorous safety documentation, overseeing subcontractor compliance, and promoting a proactive safety culture across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Safety Oversight

Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with OSHA, DOSH, and CIBD safety regulations. Conduct toolbox meetings, site inspections, and hazard assessments. Enforce use of PPE and safe work procedures across all subcontractors and site personnel.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain safety logs, incident reports, and corrective action records. Prepare safety documentation for client-facing reports, audits, and monthly progress updates. Coordinate with the Project Director to align safety records with client expectations.

Subcontractor Compliance

Verify validity of subcontractor safety certifications (e.g. NIOSH, CIDB green card). Conduct onboarding safety briefings and ensure alignment with the company's safety SOPs. Track lifting equipment inspections and operator licensing.

Emergency Preparedness

Develop and implement emergency response plans tailored to site conditions. Conduct fire drills, first aid simulations, and evacuation exercises. Liaise with local authorities for compliance and incident response coordination.

The Ideal Candidate:

Valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification and physical Yellow Book showing required training entries. Familiarity with solar PV installation risks and mitigation strategies. Experience with client audits or compliance reporting is a plus. Strong documentation and communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
