- Sales Assistant

Job Title : Sales Assistant

Department: Retail / Sales

Reports To : Section Leader / Supervisor

Job Purpose

The Sales Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting shoppers in locating products, replenishing stock on shelves, and supporting daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning of the retail branch.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers professionally and courteously. Provide product knowledge, recommendations, and alternatives. Handle customer inquiries and complaints, escalating when needed.

Sales Support

Ensure products are neatly displayed, priced, and tagged correctly. Replenish shelves and maintain stock levels. Assist in achieving daily and monthly sales targets. Promote offers, loyalty programs, and in-store promotions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned section. Participate in stock counts, receiving deliveries, and stock rotation (FIFO). Ensure safety, hygiene, and company policies are followed.

Team Support

Support Cashiers, Section Leaders, and Supervisors during peak hours. Assist in training new staff when required. Work collaboratively to maintain smooth store operations.

Job Requirements

Minimum SPM / equivalent qualification. At least 1 year experience in retail or customer service preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of stock handling and customer service. Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
