The Sales Assistant supports daily operations in a food and beverage outlet by assisting customers, handling transactions, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring excellent service standards to enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Prepare beverages as per order by customer
Take and serve customer orders accurately and efficiently
Handle payments via cash, card, or digital platforms
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter and dining area
Refill stock items when needed
Provide product recommendations and promote promotional items
Handle customer complaints or inquiries professionally
Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and cleaning
Cooperate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements:
Minimum SPM or equivalent
Prior experience in retail or F&B preferred
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic math and POS (Point-of-Sale) system skills
Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
