Aufgabe

• The Business Unit Rail, specializing in all areas of the railway sector, offers a comprehensive portfolio of testing, inspection, certification, and training services. With those services, we support our customers in the rail domains of Rolling stock, Signaling, Infrastructure, and Energy in all lifecycle phases of the railway systems. The Business Line Global Rail Program facilitates multi-domain railway projects worldwide and supports local business developments. The role of the Sales & Business Development Manager aims at promoting T\xc3\x9cV S\xc3\x9cD\'s local rail profile, generating sales leads, and building relationships with customers and partners.
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Promote T\xc3\x9cV S\xc3\x9cD as a leading rail competence in the region
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarize with the local customer, competitor, and potential partner landscape
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify new sales leads through networking and proactive industry observation and research
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify and follow up on specific public and private tenders from an early stage on and forward them to the head office for assessment
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide local input to the tender preparation in the head office, as required
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Build up relationships with the local rail customers and understand their needs and constraints
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Search and identify suitable rail partners for T\xc3\x9cV S\xc3\x9cD, establish the first contact and compile a profile dossier for assessment by the head office
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Schedule and prepare meetings and presentations for T\xc3\x9cV S\xc3\x9cD\'s global rail experts with potential customers and partners
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain a realistic long-term sales pipeline for multi-domain rail projects and local business developments
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarize with local and regional rail associations and advise on upcoming symposia and trade fairs
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Record all Sales & Business Development activities in T\xc3\x9cV S\xc3\x9cD\'s CRM system
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Compile local rail regulations and forward them to T\xc3\x9cV S\xc3\x9cD\'s head office
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare regular status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up

Qualifikation

• \xe2\x80\xa2 Master / Degree in Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical Engineering with minimum of 5 years of working experience.
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent problem-solving, decision making and interpersonal skills
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Enthusiastic and resourceful with a \xe2\x80\x9ccan-do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude.
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time
• \xe2\x80\xa2 A proactive team player but with the ability to work independently.
• \xe2\x80\xa2 Must possess own transport and will to travel locally and overseas.
