Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Chartering of vessel (bulk chemical tanker) if need arise
- Manage operation in shipping (bulk chemical tanker)
- Manage and handle import and export shipping and documentation requirements
- Interact directly with customers and suppliers/principles either by telephone, electronically or face to face
- respond promptly to customer/supplier inquiries, coordinate customer complaints with sales
- process orders and provide delivery advice to storage terminal/warehouse.
- Update delivery information to sales team
- keep records of customer interactions and transactions
- manage administration & follow up on customer interactions
- communicate and coordinate with internal departments
- provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process and any other related and assignments from time to time
- Minimum Diploma holders, preferably with Degree holders
- possess knowledge in export and import requirement
- possess knowledge in process of chartering of vessel
- knowledge of customer service principles, practices & administrative procedures
- knowledge of relevant computer applications ie. Microsoft Office and SAP
- Proficient in both written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
