Job Purpose


Customer Service and Order Processing to support Sales team and customers in Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities


  • Handling all incoming enquiries from Customers
  • Liaising with internal Dept (Planners / Purchasers) on Customers orders (especially if given lead time is tight) to ensure internal team are able to fulfil the orders
  • Processing all Customers PO\xe2\x80\x99s received into JDE system
  • Confirming Customers orders by form of Order Acknowledgement
  • Ensuring committed ship date in system are updated and aligned with the dates Planners / Purchasers committed
  • Handling Sample request per directed by Sales / CTS team
  • Raising awareness to ACM for potential customers whose Sales demand exceeded the Credit limit given, for Credit limit Change request to be followed up
  • Raising SR (for customer\xe2\x80\x99s account on hold due to outstanding payment / Over Credit limit), while ACM are reviewing on Customer\xe2\x80\x99s Credit Limit
  • Consolidating needed info when complaints are received (affected products / Lot# / quantities etc) to QA and CTS team to investigate on the cause of complaints
  • Closing the complaints by form of Credit Notes / Replacements depending on the decision of QA/ACM
  • Following up with Customers on their Orders / Forecast demand
  • Sharing anticipated demand surge with Operations team, for them to cater to the needed RM (especially if the product is non common)


Requirements & Qualifications


Experience in customer service or sales order processing will be an added advantage Ability to work in cross-functional environment with colleagues from Quality, Purchasing, Sales team


Education



High school diploma or GED in Relevant industry
