Job Scope & Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day import and export customer inquiries, orders, and documentation.
Maintain strong communication with customers, shipping lines, forwarders, and suppliers to ensure smooth cargo movement.
Prepare quotations, sales proposals, and follow up with potential and existing clients.
Coordinate shipment bookings, customs clearance, and delivery arrangements.
Monitor shipment status, update customers on progress, and resolve any operational issues.
Build and maintain good customer relationships to achieve sales targets and service excellence.
Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
Ensure compliance with trade regulations, HS code classification, and company policies.
Support the sales team in developing new business opportunities in import/export markets.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or related field.
Experience in import/export operations, sales, or customer service is an advantage.
Knowledge of shipping documents (BL, Invoice, Packing List, COO, Health Cert, etc.).
Good communication and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Able to work independently and in a team, with good problem-solving skills.
