Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Business Development Executive based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia with full remote work flexibility. The Sales Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, managing leads, developing strong relationships with potential clients, closing leads and meeting weekly KPIs. The role includes account management and effective communication to ensure client satisfaction and company growth.
Job Responsibilities
Identify and pitch to local partners and vendors across Malaysia
Conduct product walkthroughs and close deals to meet KPIs
Manage the onboarding process for new hosts including experience and product listing setup
Maintain partner relationships and provide light account support
Prepare simple reports or complete administrative tasks assigned by the CEO
Qualifications
Must be based in Kuala Lumpur
Proficiency in
Mandarin
is required due to business communication needs.
Energetic, outgoing personality with a genuine love for meeting and engaging with people
Passion for cultural experiences, travel, and building human connections
Skills in B2B Business Development and Lead Generation
Prior experience in the travel platform, cultural tourism, or hospitality industry is a plus
Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Comfortable with flexible work hours, remote team collaboration, and taking ownership of results
Resilient and adaptable, able to handle challenges with creativity and a positive attitude
Must have a valid Malaysian driver's license and own a vehicle
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary starts from MYR 3,800 with commission-based incentives, offering total earning potential of up to MYR 6,000 or more
