POSITION TITLE: SALES ENGINEER (ASSISTANT MANAGER)
REPORTING TO: SALES MANAGER
OFFICE LOCATION: PUCHONG, SELANGOR
OVERVIEW
Sales Engineer Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring the smooth functioning of sales operations within a company. This position typically involves a blend of technical knowledge, sales expertise, and managerial skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for supporting the sales manager in achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless handover of technical information during the sales process.
• Demonstrated success in a sales engineering role, where technical expertise is combined with sales strategy and customer interactions skills to promote and sell complex technical products or solutions.
• Provide technical support to the sales team by understanding the technical aspects of products and services.
• Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to stay updated on product enhancements and new features.
• Assist in developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Contribute to the preparation of proposals, quotes, and technical documentation for sales presentations.
• Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and challenges.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Advanced/Higher/Graduate/Diploma/Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of related working experience
• Knowledge in IT related product specific to:

Customize Server
GPU server
Storage
Embedded PC
Industrial PC
IoT product

• Familiarity with the industry in which the company operates is an advantage.
• Understanding the market trends, competitors, and customer needs within the specific industry is crucial for effective sales.
• Ability to analyze problems, propose effective solutions, and demonstrate a proactive approach to addressing customer needs.
• Own transport and able to travel outstation.
