RESPONSIBILITIES



Role Description


This is a contract role for a Sales Engineer located on-site in Bandar Baru Bangi. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and sales-related tasks to customers. Daily tasks include identifying customer needs, developing and delivering presentations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through outstanding service and communication.

Study and analyze Request for Quotation (RFQ), Invitation to Bid (ITB), Scope of Work (SOW), and client specifications. Identify commercial and technical requirements, potential risks, and opportunities. Prepare and compile full proposal packages (technical, commercial, HSE, QA/QC, project execution plans, etc.). Ensure submissions meet client deadlines, formats, and compliance criteria. Gather costing data for equipment, materials, labour, subcontracts, transportation, logistics, etc. Manage communication with clients for technical and commercial clarifications. Create marketing plans geared toward end users for each key product within portfolio, in line with strategy and targets and within budget. Preparation & delivery of marketing plan within key objective. Events planning, organization and execution. Liaison with media and publishers as required. Ensuring that all marketing materials do not deviate from the established brand image of the business. Market research and competitor analysis. Supporting the development of the website and keep website up to date. Focus on both business growth and client retention. Use email, ad words and other electronic marketing techniques to inform customers of new products and generate sales. Liaise with Events Coordinator to maximise visibility at conferences, including compiling a list of products and literature to display/demo, producing delegate inserts, etc. Where appropriate, attend key conferences to manage booth, do customer interviews and focus groups. Develop business strategies and achieve performance targets. Develop strategies and deliver excellent sales and after-sales services to maximize sales, customer satisfaction and retention. Involve and adhere to Health Safety Environment (HSE) and Quality Management System (QMS) policies.

Education & Experience (Preferred)



Technical Support and Customer Service skills Strong Communication skills Ability to work on-site in Bandar Baru Bangi Proven problem-solving skills Experience in the pipeline maintenance industry is a plus Degree in Mechanical Engineering (other Engineering Discipline can also be considered OR Marketing/Business Administrations or equivalent)

Skills & Knowledge (Required or To Be Provided if do not possess)



Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English Possess good interpersonal skill and able to work as a team Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 Computer literate (Microsoft Office and Project) & Good presentation skill
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
