Job Summary
The Sales Engineer Consultant will drive business development, manage key client relationships, and oversee project delivery across Southeast Asia. This role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin. The client is open to candidates from Engineering, Construction, Machinery, or related industries, and the candidate should be capable of managing complex B2B accounts and projects.
Key Responsibilities
Identify client needs and develop potential new customers (business development).
Conduct commercial project discussions and manage business negotiations.
Handle external business collaborations, including client liaison, negotiation, and contract signing.
Maintain and strengthen long-term customer relationships to ensure sustainable partnerships.
Manage projects from planning to completion, including quality control, contract administration, and cost management.
Lead tendering and bidding processes; prepare proposals and ensure compliance with client requirements.
Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities for business expansion within SEA.
Coordinate internally across teams to ensure project delivery meets company and client expectations.
Represent the company in external meetings, business reviews, and project discussions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above
5-10 years of relevant experience in B2B sales, project management, or technical account management
Fluent in English and Mandarin
Experience in key account management and handling large corporate clients
Strong ability to interpret technical drawings (CAD) and manage project quality standards
Familiar with tendering/bidding processes and international trade fundamentals
Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with solid project and cost management awareness
Demonstrates strategic thinking, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to manage team operations effectively
Open to frequent travel (approximately 50% per month) within the SEA region
Preferably below 40 years old
