Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, IT or related fields.
  • Minimum 2-3 years (or more, depending on seniority) of sales experience, preferably in technology solutions, AV (audio-visual), office equipment, or related fields. Fresh graduates with strong interest and basic understanding may be considered for junior roles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Target-driven, self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Strong customer focus and good relationship management skills.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel for client visits.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SQL systems for tracking leads and sales.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; other languages (Mandarin/Tamil etc.) an advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Develop new business by prospecting, networking, and lead generation to find potential clients in sectors such as education, corporate offices, government, and events.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business, upsell complementary products & services.
  • Conduct product-demos and technical presentations for interactive flat panels, projectors, and other office tech, explaining features, and benefits.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions for customers to demonstrate how to use interactive panels, including setup, touch controls, annotation tools, and software features
  • Understand client requirements and design/match the right solutions
  • Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and tender documents. Negotiate contract terms, pricing, payment terms etc.
  • Follow up with potential clients, overcome objections, and drive the sales cycle through to closure.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (technical, operations, installation, after-sales support) to ensure smooth delivery and implementation.
  • Keep track of competitor offerings, market trends, product developments. Provide feedback to management for product improvement or marketing strategy refinement.
  • Meet or exceed monthly / quarterly / annual sales / revenue targets / KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline forecasting, reports to management.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, workshops or customer events to promote products and build the brand presence.
  • Occasionally travel for client meetings, site inspections, and installations as needed.
