Sales Executive

Job Description

Manage and strengthen relationships with key wholesalers, particularly golf travel operators, through ECM's IAGTO membership. Liaise with international and local tour operators to promote the venue through familiarization trips, sales calls, and regular communications. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with corporations, local businesses, civic organizations, and charity groups to promote the facility for tournaments, corporate events, F&B, and merchandise sales. Work with the DOSM to identify and secure corporate sponsorships and partnerships with luxury brands across various industries. Ensure corporate clients receive exceptional service throughout their engagement and maintain long-term relationships. Collaborate closely with the Golf Sales Manager (GSM) to leverage existing partnerships and attract new business opportunities. Support day-to-day yield management for all golf-related aspects of the property and proactively recommend sales programs to maximize revenue. Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to attract groups, weddings, meetings, and catered events. Represent the facility during site visits, golf outings, weddings, and other special events to showcase the property and convert leads into bookings. Support the DOSM in creating tournaments for local audiences, including Troon Cardholders, Troon Rewards members, key third-party clients, and public golfers. Assist in preparing annual sales plans, weekly/monthly sales reports, budgets, and forecasts. Ensure smooth coordination with relevant departments to organize and execute all events in a detailed and professional manner. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics in the CRM system. Coordinates each tournament or event from the initial planning stages until completion of the event. Assists with bookings and enquires for memberships and annual pass holders. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience



Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or communications and 2-3 years related experience in sales and marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a sales and/or marketing role in a golf course would be a distinct advantage.

Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability Preferences



Ability to read, write and speak English and Bahasa Malay is required in order to perform the duties of the job. Ability to read, write and speak Chinese dialects a distinct advantage. Good verbal and written communications skills. Strong analytical skills. Strong attention to detail, and good organizational skills. Possesses a high level of accuracy.

Pay: RM3,100.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
