Sales Executive

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



1. Sales & Business Development:



Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the

building interior products sector

(contractors, developers, interior designers, homeowners). Conduct

on-site visits

to assess customer needs, provide product recommendations, and close sales. Build and maintain strong relationships with

architects, contractors, and retail clients

. Achieve and exceed

monthly/quarterly sales targets

.

2. Quotation, Invoicing & Customer Service:



Prepare

detailed quotations, invoices, and sales proposals

for clients. Follow up on payments and ensure smooth order fulfilment. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service to ensure satisfaction.

3. Site Visits & Project Coordination:



Travel to

construction sites, showrooms, and client locations

for product demonstrations and sales follow-ups. Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and installation. Conduct post-sale visits to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

4. Language & Communication:



Fluent in

Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia

(written & spoken) to engage with a diverse clientele. Ability to negotiate and present professionally to B2B and B2C customers.

Requirements:



2-3 years of sales experience

in

building interior products

(tiles, wall/ceiling materials, countertops, etc.).

Marketing-oriented mindset

- understands promotions, branding, and lead generation.

Proficiency in preparing quotations, invoices, and sales reports.

Willingness to travel extensively

(within Malaysia) and work

weekends

when required. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Tech-savvy with experience in

CRM software, Excel, and basic design tools

(e.g., Canva, AutoCAD basics is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications:



Diploma/Degree in

Sales, Marketing, Interior Design, or Business Administration

. Experience working with

contractors, developers, or interior design firms

. Familiarity with

3D visualization tools

(e.g., SketchUp) is an advantage.

Work Conditions:



Frequent travel

(outstation) required - must have own transport.

Flexible hours

, including weekends for client meetings and site visits.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
