About the company: Our client is a major industry player in the logistics and freight forwarding industry, with a firm foothold in the Asia Pacific region and positioned to bring its services to a global level. Job Responsibilities: \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbf- Identifying new business opportunities and developing existing and new business accounts. - Present and maintain an active listing of new business prospects to the Company. - Develop market share with existing customers to an agreed annual target. - Generate leads, set appointments and present business proposals to potential customers through various communication channels, including face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, emails, etc. - Manage and maintain pipelines, respond to requests for information in a timely manner and remain proactive and responsive to prospective customers. - Effectively interacts with other departments including, the account management, operation & logistics teams, and finance department. - Study the market inclusive, but not limited to competitors, carriers, and manufacturers to be updated on market trends, fluctuation, change. - Timely submission of sales reports to a direct sales manager or higher levels when required. \xef\xbb\xbfJob Requirements: - Diploma / Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent - At least 2-5 years of experience in the Logistics/Freight Forwarding industry with exposure to sales and business development - Proficient in MS Office applications - Willing to travel - Good in communication and negotiation - Strong organizational and management skills - Strategic thinking and statistical analysis skills \xef\xbb\xbfRemuneration: \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfMYR 4,000 - MYR 8,000 (basic) + commission \xef\xbb\xbfWorking Hours: \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfMon - Fri | 9 am - 6 pm \xef\xbb\xbfLocation: Klang, Selangor / Georgetown, Penang
