About The Company About the job Sales Manager, Engineering Products, Penang Our client is a specialized industrial service provider that offers a wide range of technical products, co-engineering and customization solutions, as well as related services. They help customers in a variety of industrial segments to improve their products performance and reduce their total cost of ownership. Responsibilities Responsible for developing, promoting, and soliciting sales for the company\'s range of products which includes developing new businesses and servicing the existing accounts in Malaysia Review incoming inquiries from customers in MRO/OEM and Projects Coordinate with colleagues for necessary quotations/customer orders/logistics/quality and facilitate communication with customers Promote a variety of products from a number of different suppliers Well-versed in the market situation; potentials, opportunities, and threats Pose good sales tactics in persuading potential and existing customers with the use of technical knowledge Manage customers\' and principals expectations for a win-win situation Management of sales team, including developing a sales team to achieve targets and bring in revenue Responsible and ensure customers are assigned to achieve yearly set goals and budget Outstation traveling on short notice is necessary Submit the sales activity update/presentations to your immediate supervisor Execute business strategies and sales plans formulated by the Management Observing all the company\'s Safety standards and Corporate Compliance Any other duties/projects as assigned by your immediate supervisor Requirements:- Possess at least a minimum Diploma in Engineering / Mechanical discipline or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in selling engineering products to various industries such as Semiconductor, OEM, and General Contractor Computer literate, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Strong knowledge of sales and negotiation skills Team and sales-oriented, results-driven, self-starter with the ability to work well with little supervision and lead a team to meet business goals Knowledge of mechanical engineering products is an added advantage.
