Job Description


In this role, the incumbent will play a key role in promoting and selling the organisation\'s products within a specified territory. You will engage with HCPs and distributors through various channels to drive product adoption and sales. As a first-level manager, you will oversee and lead a team consisting of sales professionals where your focus will be on mentoring, coaching, coordinating the team to achieve collective goals.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies: Create and implement effective sales strategies aligned with team\'s goals. Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth within the assigned territory or market segment.
  • Manage sales team: Lead and supervise a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment to maximise productivity and engagement.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, such as healthcare providers, hospitals, and distributors. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, provide product education, and offer tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Monitor market trends: Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies and tactics accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Sales forecasting and reporting: Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and generate accurate sales forecasts and reports. Provide regular updates to senior management regarding sales achievements, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Study background: Bachelor\'s degree or professional qualification, preferably with major in Life Science, Business, Marketing or equivalent
  • An established candidate with a minimum of 6 year\'s experience in Medical Device sales (Preferable in Diagnostics portfolio)
  • Experience in managing a team of high-calibre sales professionals across different regions within Malaysia
  • Strong sales track records, exceptional effective interpersonal relationship with HCPs and multi-stakeholders, and strong distributor management
  • Have fluent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Flexible in travelling within Malaysia and/or abroad if necessary
