Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of proven sales experience in the travel or hotel industry - preferably within a Destination Management Company (DMC) or travel agency.
  • Strong professional network within the travel agent community is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, client management, and achieving sales targets.
  • Solid understanding of travel operations and destination management processes.
  • Experience working with multinational or foreign organizations is highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated, mature, and capable of working independently under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Mandarin.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and execute tour operations in alignment with agent and customer requirements for worldwide destinations.
  • Drive business development efforts to expand the client base and achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain a robust client database by identifying new prospects and strengthening existing relationships.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide strategic recommendations to the Country Manager.
  • Develop destination marketing materials highlighting unique selling points for clients and internal sales teams.
  • Promote and upsell travel itineraries, activities, and destination experiences.
  • Conduct pre- and post-season reviews to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Evaluate proposed itineraries for feasibility, profitability, and margin optimization.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and site inspections.
  • Resolve client issues and service-related matters promptly and professionally.
  • Support management with strategic projects and special assignments as required.
