Sales Manager Orthopaedics

Job Description
Responsible to lead a field sales team in the medical device industry. You will guide and train your direct reports, while leading the team to achieve sales goals.
Key responsibilities will involve:
- Regular field visits to customers and identifying new business opportunities
- Product demonstration and technical support
- Managing sales team members, including hiring, training and coaching
- Driving performance in the team to achieve commercial targets
- Conducting and arranging continuous medical education (CME) events
- Sales forecasting and reporting
- Developing long-term relationships with key accounts and working on long-term sales cycles
Key requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in biotechnology, biomedical science, pharmacy, or a related discipline
- 6+ years experience in medical devices sales, especially in equipment and hospital assets
- Background in orthopaedic equipment or surgical devices will be an advantage to perform in this role
- Team leadership experience and a successful track record in achieving targets
- Excellent communication skills and demonstration ability
- Possessing own transport and willing to travel
