Requirements
  • Proven track record in developing, closing local opportunities and achieving sales targets in air, sea, land freight, warehouse and fulfilment.
  • Familiarity with international trade terms (Incoterms), shipping documentation and customs procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations (air/sea import-export, customs clearance, logistics solutions).
  • "Hunter" instinct for local and global opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer orientation and relationship management abilities.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM system.
Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in freight forwarding, logistics and supply chain solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential clients.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to ensure continued business and satisfaction.
  • Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements with clients and shipping lines/airlines, transporter and other vendors.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities.
  • Implement marketing plan corresponds to the achievement of marketing objectives and ensures Company annual revenue goals are achieved.
  • Manage sales interface with overseas agents and network to achieve individual targeted Sales Lead and Routing Orders as well as for the entire sales team.
  • Innovate and create opportunity to maximize revenue and yield returns.
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients on pricing, shipment status, and service issues.
  • Work closely with operations, documentation, and customer service team to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Handle client complaints or escalations professionally and provide quick resolutions.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
  • Develop monthly / weekly sales plans, forecasts and budgets.
  • Monitor and report sales performance metrics and progress to management.
  • Contribute to business planning, marketing initiatives, and pricing strategies.
  • Support management in developing value-added logistics solutions for target customers.
Team Management
  • Lead and supervise the sales team to meet departmental objectives.
  • Coach, train, and motivate sales staff to improve their sales and customer management skills.
  • Monitor sales performance, provide regular feedback and conduct performance appraisals.
  • Develop and manage a highly motivated sales team.
  • Increase communication and coordination between Sales and Operations to ensure a positive and attainment of high services provided.
