Education And Experience

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hospitality or Business Administration or any related qualification with 2-3 years' experience in the Sales & Marketing or related professional area, preferably with a 5 star international property.
• Candidates with experience in Le Meridien or Marriott International properties are preferred.
• Able to speak in English and Mandarin

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

• Actively interact with clients including, but not limited to: Corporate, government, diplomatic mission, travel agentsfrom China market and others, wholesaler, professional clubs and associations, walk-in guests and in-house guests, locally and internationally.
• To achieve a minimum: 25 telemarketing calls per week or as directed by DOSM.
• To respond to all enquiries within the turnaround timeline and ensure effective follow-ups are to be conducted for such enquiries.
• To effectively utilize the standard forms and letters to ensures that such forms and letters are presented in a professional manner.
• To assist in answering telephone inquiries, preparing rate letters or proposal letters for all market segments and handles general administration.
• To maintain an effective account and account management through Opera S&C and to be fully competent with operating Opera Sales and Catering system.
• To ensure that all data input in the Opera Sales and Catering is accurate and updated.
• To assist the sales team in coordinating all sales activities especially those related to tour series groups and handling correspondence with the tour agents from China.
