Key Responsibilities & Tasks
The Customer Business Support-Services Senior Specialist, exists to support the Services Sales Executives (SSE\'s) with Pre-Sales commercial support. Specifically creation of Harmony Quotes, creation of Services Order Forms, initiating Deal Approvals where required and finalising executed return contracts through to Order to Invoicing (O2I) teams downstream for Post Sales revenue planning and collection processes.
CBS team members work closely with SAP SSE\'s, to understand commercial constructs of Services Deals. This includes working with Commercial Business Partners (CBP\'s), Services Solution Centre and requires expert knowledge of the Services Deal approval process and Delegation of Authority. Initiate knowledge of commercial concepts such as Sell Price, Cost Price, Travel costs, SSP, Margin concepts and delivery phase concepts are key to being successful in this role.
CBS Team members work across the APJ+ Greater China region and are required to learn and understand the variations of the core Quote to Contract process unique to multiple Market Units within region. This can include at times the need to support various time zones from New Zealand to India ( 7 hour time difference)
Stakeholder management is the core skill required to be successful in this role. CBS team members will support multiple deals and any given time supporting different sales people, from different countries with differing levels of priority on any given day. Sales end periods become very busy and high levels of coordination, communication and expectation management are required to maintain quality and effectiveness.
