This role has the opportunity to interact and collaborate some of our key stakeholders while promoting Medtronic surgical products A Day in the Life Sales Representative, Surgical Innovations Typically, sales professional (individual contributor) with direct sales responsibilities. May direct the work of other entry level sales professionals or manage sales processes and / or accounts involving multiple team members. Majority of time is spent establishing and maintaining customer relationships, developing new customer relationships, implementing sales strategies and meeting sales targets. Key Responsibilities:
Promotes and sells Medtronic\'s surgical products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic\'s products and/or services.
Promotes and establishes education of the company\'s products and/or services.
Conducts market research including customers and competitors\xe2\x80\x99 activities.
Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.
Conducts on-site education and/or consulting
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree required
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and complete knowledge of company products and services
Nice to Have
Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 2 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years of sales and / or clinical experience in the healthcare field in Pharma or medical device
Passionate in serving healthcare customers, driven and self-motivated to be successful in this role
Requires practical knowledge gained through experience of sales techniques and job area typically obtained through education combined with sales experience.
Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
Proven record of sales achievements
