An exciting Sales Support Engineer job has been made available by a world-renowned medical device company here in Malaysia.

About the Sales Support Engineer Role:
In this position, you will be required to collaborate closely with service technicians in order to implement system installations and resolve maintenance issues, along with supporting the sales team on technical matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner company's appointed service providers for technical support of all capital equipment, inclusive of equipment distributed through appointed channel partners
• Provide level two service support related to maintenance, field action, recalibration, upgrade and repair for local installed base
• Responsible for customer satisfaction on the equipment performance and services
• Report all service activities in approved Service Management Systems and meet key performance indicators
• Monitor, organise and maintaining personal trunk stock, tools and test measurement equipment and spare parts
• Administer service contract opportunities and collaborate with sales team to drive local contract adoption
• Responsible for local capital equipment related program management
• Ensure awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of the organisation

To succeed in this Sales Support Engineer role, you must have strong technical hands-on knowledge in servicing and maintaining medical devices.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Biomedical, Medical Engineering, Medical Technology, Electrical and Electronics or equivalent
• Three years' experience in troubleshooting, maintenance and service repairing of medical devices
• Prior experience handling utilities, surgical equipment (light pendant) and medical aspiration devices is ideal
• Prior service repair experience along with knowledge on repair processes and new technologies
• Prior pre-sales technical support experience is necessary
• Possess own vehicle
• Good communication and human interaction skills
