Sales Support Engineer

Job Description

Primary role is to help the sales team close deals by providing technical solutions, product expertise, and support to customers.
Some key responsibilities of a sales support engineer may include:

  • Providing technical support to the sales team, including conducting product demos, answering technical questions, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Developing technical solutions for customers and creating proposals based on customer needs.
  • Conducting site visits to assess customer needs and make product recommendations.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Supporting the implementation of products and services for customers.
  • Maintaining and updating technical documentation and product manuals.
  • Providing technical training to customers and the sales team.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications for a sales support engineer may include:
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical sales or support role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with technical products and systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Must know MANDARIN, required to worked closely with TAIWAN AND CHINA counterpart closely.
