Sales Support Specialist

Job Description


Our ASEAN Business Operations Team plays a critical part in day-to-day administration of sales and account management activities. The Sales Support Specialist drives efficiencies by reducing the administrative burden on the account management team. As the main liaison to our Order & Rights Management team, this person will facilitate the order to cash cycle in an accurate and timely manner. This role will work closely with internal team members to address customers\' administrative issues and coordinate complex deals.

Key Responsibilities


  • Act as first line support for Account Managers on order process and system queries

  • Liaise with Order Management Specialists (OMS) to provide administrative support for quote to cash cycle including:

  • Order processing support

  • Credits procedures including billing accuracy and reconciliation, appropriate escalation and support resolution

  • Entitlements support such as permission error handling, user list pulls and sends, etc.

  • Document handling - Accuracy of order forms, contract franking and follow-ups, support obtaining signed contracts and order forms from customers, process and validate cancellation requests/terms

  • Develop customer relationships to address administrative and customers issues

  • Administer complex deals in collaboration with Account Managers and OMS

  • Handle Free Trials for setup and extension

  • Respond to ad hoc data requests from sales management

  • Monitor Account Managers\' pipeline clean-up, accuracy, and adherence to standard methodologies

  • Play a supporting role in the annual price increase process e.g. reporting on contractual exceptions and business exceptions
Skills and experience

  • Strong interpersonal and prioritization skills with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to troubleshoot and a solutions-focused, customer centric attitude

  • High degree of personal motivation and ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast paced work environment

  • Experience in operating within a matrix structure and supporting multiple teams

  • 5+ years of experience in supporting sales and account management teams, supporting large sophisticated deals, in a B2B environment

  • Previous experience within an international company is desireable

  • Bachelor\'s degree qualified or above, strong Excel and data analysis skills

  • Business-level Bahasa Malaysia and English language proficiency
