Description
We're Hiring a Sales Support Specialist!
As a Sales Support Specialist, you'll collaborate with Sales, Design, and Operations teams to ensure client requirements are translated into precise proposals and compliant specifications.

Desired Skills and Experience
Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in quotation tools such as Hedberg, Excel, and Quest (in-house system).
• Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Drafting expertise using specification tools like PCON and AutoCAD (Revit & SketchUp are beneficial).
• Strong design skills to assess workspace ergonomics and apply Steelcase product knowledge.
• Knowledge of power and data infrastructure and distribution systems.
• Familiarity with BIFMA, IAQ, ISO, and LEED standards.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and influence solution direction.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Customer-first mindset with a proactive approach to service delivery.
• Must have: AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.

Education & Experience

• At least 2-3 years of working experience in pre-sales support, preferably in office furniture or a similar industry.

What You Will Be Doing

• Prepare quotations, pricing strategies, and support project bids for Malaysia sales and dealer partners.
• Provide quotation and design support for Singapore when needed to balance workload or meet critical timelines.
• Support Sales with presentations, RFP/RFI responses, client pitches, and solution design.
• Collaborate with Sales Support Team to ensure alignment of standards and solution accuracy.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, Drawing, Operations, OFT, SPQ) to ensure all deliverables - including quotations, drawings, and pricing packages - are completed accurately and on time.
• Engage with customers to clarify project requirements and interpret floor plans.
• Apply market-specific pricing and compile detailed project quotations.
• Calculate logistics costs and review proposals for accuracy.
• Maintain quotation records and provide post-installation drawing support.
