Requirements

  • Possess at least 3 years of experience in interior design or renovation sales, familiar with the Johor Bahru market.
  • Proficient in Mandarin, Malay, and English, able to communicate fluently with diverse clients.
  • Familiar with interior design processes, including space planning, design proposal development, and project management.
  • Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp, capable of independently completing design schemes.
  • Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to effectively establish and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Possess project management experience, able to coordinate and manage renovation projects, ensuring completion on time and within budget.
  • Knowledgeable about interior design and renovation materials, able to provide clients with professional advice and solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new sales leads and opportunities within the residential and commercial sectors in Johor Bahru and surrounding areas, leveraging existing networks and proactively prospecting for new clients.
  • Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their interior design and renovation needs, preferences, and budget constraints, translating these requirements into compelling design proposals and project plans.
  • Prepare and present detailed quotations, proposals, and contracts to clients, clearly outlining the scope of work, timelines, and pricing, while effectively addressing any concerns or objections to secure project commitments.
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact to project handover, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with the design, renovation, and project management teams to deliver exceptional client service and project outcomes.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by effectively managing a sales pipeline, tracking progress, and implementing strategies to maximize conversion rates and revenue generation.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of current interior design trends, materials, and construction techniques, and continuously update product knowledge to provide informed recommendations and solutions to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers to foster long-term partnerships and generate repeat business and referrals.
