Job Description

The SAP ABAP Consultant is responsible for delivering high-quality SAP solutions through advanced ABAP development and technical leadership. The role requires expertise in SAP development, ability to design scalable solutions, and close collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of complex ABAP solutions across multiple SAP modules. Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Develop advanced objects: BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, OData services, and Fiori/UI5 integration. Guide and mentor junior developers and analysts on coding standards and best practices. Perform technical reviews, solution design validation, and ensure adherence to SAP development guidelines. Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business users on end to-end project delivery. Support SAP S/4HANA migration and implementation projects. Optimize existing developments for performance and compliance. Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for complex issues.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development across multiple modules. Strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and Fiori/UI5 integration. Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects. Hands-on experience in workflows, interfaces, forms, and performance optimization. Strong understanding of SAP architecture and integration with non-SAP systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to provide thought leadership, mentor junior staff, and drive best practices
