Are you an SAP BW/BI expert who is currently looking for new opportunities? Look no further as I have the rigth one for you! My client is a leading provider of business services in Malaysia, helping businesses to grow their operations and expand their reach in the local market. They operates across a wide range of industries, including consumer goods, healthcare, performance materials, and technology.

Currently, they are looking for an SAP BW/BI to be part of their every growing organisation to be based in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities:

• As part of Business Intelligence initiatives, find ways to optimize enterprise database architectures.
• This includes providing solutions, implementing them, and monitoring validation processes to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.
• Design, implement and monitor source-to-target systems to ensure availability, while providing support and resolving business intelligence reporting and technical issues within service level expectations.
• Take part in designing infrastructure installations tailored to different business operations.
• Carry out all ETL process phases to ensure compliance with global templates and standard operating procedures.
• Keep internal processes and quality standards documentation up to date to ensure process controls and audits align with IT standards.
• Assist and support Business Objects application/SQL databases in various project implementations, including global and country support processes.
• Conduct knowledge transfer, training, and best practice sharing to ensure knowledge availability and continuity for local Country IT or other internal stakeholders.
• Negotiate solutions with business stakeholders and users and ensure adherence to agreed service and operational level agreements, as well as user satisfaction.

Requirements:

• To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor\'s degree in Computing/Information Technology or its equivalent.
• Additionally, they should have up to five years of experience in a similar role, and hands-on and development experience in SAP BW and HANA is essential.
• Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong modelling skills in both BW and HANA, as well as experience in generating complex data models with hybrid modelling.
• They should also have experience working on new BW on HANA objects and LSA++ environments, building HANA views with scripted calculations, and working on complex HANA view modelling with SAP sources.
• Good knowledge of SAP SCM and related standard LIS extractors is also required, as well as proficiency in ABAP (related to BW), SQL, and experience in writing complex store procedures/scripts.
• The candidate should be able to work with customer exits/function modules and programs, debug complex ABAP codes, and modify them
• Additionally, the candidate should possess skills in relational database and star schema design and implementation.
• Experience with BW Query Designer/Bex would be an added advantage, and proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is necessary.
• The candidate should also have fluency in the local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken.
