Job Description

\xe2\x80\xa2 Monitoring and managing desktop support, IT services desk, and VIP support functions to ensure optimal service \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintaining high performance levels for service-related processes, and implementing improvement activities wherever necessary \xe2\x80\xa2 Taking ownership of critical incidents, coordinating with resolution parties, and establishing effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring that systems, procedures, and methodologies are in place to support outstanding service delivery \xe2\x80\xa2 Developing a deep understanding of projects to gain insights into the scope of service delivery \xe2\x80\xa2 Taking accountability for service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations, and driving future demand \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyzing third-party as well as internal processes, and creating strategies for service delivery optimization \xe2\x80\xa2 Performance and Quality Management: \xe2\x80\xa2 Recommending methods of improvement and seeing that actions are implemented on time for service delivery upgrades \xe2\x80\xa2 Providing accurate and regular reports to the management on performance of the service delivery \xe2\x80\xa2 Leading personnel management, including staff recruitment, performance assessment, training, and mentoring \xe2\x80\xa2 Building strong relationships with teams and stakeholders to enable effective dialogue exchange between departments Technical Perception: \xe2\x80\xa2 Supervising desktop management teams to facilitate continual improvements in the desktop environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborating with technical design teams to set standards for software, hardware, and security \xe2\x80\xa2 Making sure that anti-virus updates and patches are applied effectively and promptly \xe2\x80\xa2 Enabling high-level performance benchmarks for access devices, such as PCs, laptops, and mobiles \xe2\x80\xa2 Meeting Support: \xe2\x80\xa2 Providing technology support for corporate conferencing and ensuring the ready availability of meeting room resources, such as presentation software and audiovisual systems \xe2\x80\xa2 Educating departmental staff on the effective use of conference room technology Service Delivery: \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in leading both physical and virtual teams \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in dealing with third-party-provided services \xe2\x80\xa2 Operational ability in a diverse, large-scale environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Exceptional customer-facing skills \xe2\x80\xa2 In-depth knowledge of escalation procedures, incident management, and other disciplines related to service delivery \xe2\x80\xa2 Mastery of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles \xe2\x80\xa2 Expertise in people management and leadership \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong organizational skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Capacity to train and guide junior team members \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently \xe2\x80\xa2 Solid resource planning and problem-solving skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
