Work with business stakeholders to understand sales, billing, distribution, and order-to-cash (O2C) processes.
Document business requirements and translate them into SAP functional specifications.
Set up master data: customer master, material master, condition records, etc.
3. Cross-Module Integration
Collaborate with other SAP modules like:
MM
(Material Management) - for procurement, inventory,
FI/CO
- for billing integration, revenue recognition,
WM/EWM
- for shipping/warehouse processes,
PP
- for ATP and production dependencies
Ensure seamless flow between modules in O2C processes.
4. Writing Functional Specifications
Provide clear functional specs for developers (ABAP) for: Enhancements, Reports, User exits / BAdIs, Interfaces (IDocs, EDI, APIs), Forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms)
5. Testing
Prepare test scripts and execute: Unit testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, UAT support
Validate business scenarios and resolve defects.
6. Production Support & Issue Resolution
Handle day-to-day support tickets (L2/L3).
Troubleshoot issues related to pricing, billing, outputs, tax, document flow, etc.
Provide root-cause analysis and fixes.
7. User Training & Documentation
Train end users on SD processes.
Prepare process documents, manuals, help guides.
8. Go-Live Preparation & Cutover
Assist with data migration (customers, pricing, open orders).
Set up cutover activities for SD module.
Provide hyper-care support post go-live.
9. Continuous Improvements
Recommend process optimizations.
Implement new SD functionalities, SAP Notes, or system upgrades (e.g., S/4HANA).
Job Requirements:
At least 3 to 5 years of SAP SD module project implementation experience.
Consultant should have a background in the manufacturing industry.
Ability to independently configure the SAP SD module, including both front-end and back-end settings.
Familiar with integration between SD and other SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management) and FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling).
Strong understanding of the Order to Cash (OTC) process, along with relevant knowledge of the Procure to Pay (PTP) process.
Fluent in both spoken and written Chinese and English.
Responsibilities:
- SAP SD functional support for ECM Projects, focusing on FY24 enhancements:
Consultant should be familiar with SAP operations, functionalities, configurations, and ABAP development.
Must have solid experience in SAP SD and related FI/CO and Tax development and functionalities, preferably with Lenovo-related experience.
Familiarity with international legal and tax requirements is a plus.
Experience participating in global or large-scale projects is an added advantage.
