Job Purpose: To support and enhance the SAP Finance, Accounting & Controlling system to be fully utilized by the Finance Department in SapuraOMV. Job Responsibilities: Manages the assigned SAP operations activities and teams. Technical Subject Matters Expertise - Configure solution (mainly SAP FICO, JVA) where applicable. Ensures SAP support provided is in accordance with established procedures and practices. Ensures SAP support service levels are met. Experience in gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing functional specifications for development of custom programs, testing, data migration, co-ordination of cutover to production and post go live support. Should be able to create requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design/Detailing of Business Processes. Experience in leading a team of functional analysts in SAP projects in day-to-day planning, organizing and delivering business requirements. Manage escalations by working with right party to resolve issues, lead service improvement plan or task force if necessary. Ensure clear communication on escalation responses are done in timely manner. Ensure documentation and knowledge management activities are setup and maintained as well as keep additional focus in retaining critical knowledge within the organization. Supporting innovation in scope of processes and technologies and identifying opportunities to reuse existing solutions. Cross functional knowledge in FI, MM, PM, HR or other SAP technical skills will be added advantage. Job Requirements: Candidate must possess minimum of Professional Certificate or Diploma/Degree in Business Admin or Information Technology or MIS/ICT or equivalent to related field. Minimum 10 Years of SAP functional experience of which minimum 4 years implementation experience specializing in design and configuration of SAP FI, JVA for Oil & Gas Industries. Experience in gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing functional specifications for development of custom programs, testing, data migration, co-ordination of cutover to production and post go live support. Should be able to create requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design/Detailing of Business Processes. Being accountable for end-to-end SAP Finance process and deliverables. System support of the SAP ERP system. Fosters effective teamwork and actively contributing continuous improvement ideas within the organization. Plays lead role responsible for deliverables assigned; and may also be required to plan, assign, and manage deliverables of other junior team members. Represents functional team on projects or day to day operation; may influence decisions/direction of the project or business process optimization. Able to work with little instruction on day-to-day work; receives general instructions on new projects or assignments.
