BAT MALAYSIA IS LOOKING FOR A SAP SUPPLY CHAIN DESIGNER

JOB TITLE: SAP Supply Chain Designer

FUNCTION: Digital Business Solutions- Enterprise Solutions

LOCATION: Selangor, Malaysia

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This role involves design and delivery of an enterprise wide SAP solution within the delivery centre of excellence. This role will ensure quality of design, implementation and management of lifecycle delivery of changes globally for SAP applications used by BAT. The candidate will have demonstrable experience in designing the overall architecture and managing the implementation and deployment of complex SAP solutions

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Key focus within the change lifecycle of implementation of changes including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, impact assessment, presenting to the appropriate governance body for approvals, transition and supporting the change post implementation
  • Accountable in ensuring changes meet the change management processes/governance/criteria
  • Responsible for evaluation and approval of the Estimates provided by the 3rd party Service provider
  • Responsible for quality assurance aligning with audits and SOX controls
  • Supporting change management, release and deployment management, service transition and service operations
  • Support and contribute to Continuous Service Improvement Process (CSIP) increasing quality/standards and driving towards lean organization
  • Managing a team of internal and outsource resources. Provide guidance and coaching to the team
  • Provide input and recommend robust solutions to meet business requirements
  • Engages with architecture functions to provide input into future standards from an operational point of view
  • Apply processes to govern change and to ensure compliance to global standards
  • Advise projects and developers on best practice, lessons learned during projects/operations to ensure delivery meets the required quality standards
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

Experience Required
  • Minimum of 8 years working experience in SAP ECC within project implementation or support organization
  • Degree level or equivalent.
  • Primary skills in the following SAP ECC modules/areas:
  • SAP Materials Management focusing on procurement, inventory management, materials planning, stock transport orders,
  • SAP Logistics Execution focusing on deliveries, picking, goods movement, shipment, warehouse management, material staging
  • Integration to third party service providers, integration to track & trace solutions
  • Inter-company, intra-company, stock transport order, subcontracting
  • Exposure to multiple full lifecycle development experience from blueprinting to design through implementation and production support.
  • Experience of working in large global organization using in-sourced and out-sourced IT service providers.
  • Demonstrable record of self-driven learning of new technologies and ways of working and able to prioritize work accordingly.
  • Engagement within team, across functions and cross delivery teams globally to establish ways of working and form good relationship dynamics.
  • Knowledgable in areas of business requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, designing solution, implementing feasible solution, conducting tests (FUT, SIT, UAT, RT), data conversion and supporting the solution
  • Good analytical and negotiation skills for conflict resolution, stakeholder management, costing discussion, and vendor management.
  • Highly adaptable to volatile working dynamics where others are not in the same location/time zone.
