About the role
As an SAP Technical Manager and the pioneer team of KL IT Shared Service Team, you will be responsible for the stability, performance, and lifecycle management of Nexperia's SAP systems, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and Fiori.
You will ensure the technical integrity of the SAP landscape, manage system upgrades, patches, and support integration with infrastructure and other enterprise applications.
This role requires strong SAP technical expertise and proven experience in vendor management, working closely with external partners, SAP functional teams, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to ensure seamless operations and drive continuous improvement.
What you will do
System Administration: Manage SAP system landscapes including installation, configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Technical Lifecycle Management: Plan and execute upgrades, support packages, kernel patches, and system migrations.
Transport Management: Oversee transport routes and change deployment across SAP environments.
User & Role Management: Support technical aspects of user provisioning and role assignments in coordination with SAP Security.
Interface & Integration Support: Maintain and troubleshoot interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., PI/PO, IDocs, RFCs).
Monitoring & Performance: Implement and maintain monitoring tools; analyze logs and performance metrics to ensure system health.
Backup & Recovery: Ensure proper backup strategies and disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested.
Collaboration: Work with functional teams to support business processes and resolve technical issues.
Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for system configurations, procedures, and change history.
Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with hosting and support partners for issue resolution and service delivery.
What you will need
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
With 7 + years of experience in SAP technical administration or Basis roles
SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration) are a plus.
Experience working in a global enterprise environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong technical knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, and related components.
Experience with SAP Basis administration and system monitoring tools.
Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and technical change management processes.
Understanding database technologies (e.g., HANA, Oracle, SQL Server) and OS platforms (Linux, Windows).
Knowledge of SAP transport management and system landscape architecture.
Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration across teams.
Accountable for the technical health and performance of SAP systems across Nexperia.
Ensures reliable and secure SAP operations through proactive management and collaboration.
