Staff/Specialist/Senior Scheduling & Dispatching Engineer(s) Location: Kulim - Kedah Champion and lead the introduction and implementation of Real Time Dispatching & Production Scheduling concepts for ams OSRAM's most advanced 200mm Wafer Fabrication Responsibilities: Champion and lead the introduction and implementation of Real Time Dispatching & Production Scheduling concepts for ams OSRAM's most advanced 200mm Wafer Fabrication start-up site to be constructed in Kulim, Malaysia. Drive the integration of the MES system with the Scheduling & Dispatching system in our system landscape. Drive the readiness of the various manufacturing processes to implement and comply to the defined Scheduling & Dispatching expectation/standards. Act as the Key Expert to partner the Operations and Industrial Engineering teams on the right usage of the Scheduling & Dispatching system for flow factor improvement, on-time delivery, and OEE improvement. Author design specifications and/or functional specifications for new/existing CIM/MES modules and/or solutions and liaise with programmers to realize the desired system capabilities. Design test cases/scenarios to perform black box testing for applications developed. Required to work with cross functional team including equipment vendors to troubleshoot, analyze, and develop solution for problem arise during/after integrated system implementation. Perform good project management tasks to ensure schedule, cost and quality goals are achieved. This includes to report out the project status effectively to project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members. Provide 2nd level support and resolution for Scheduling & Dispatching related issues. Lead, train, and guide Operations Technology (OT) shift technicians on best practices and optimize the support structure. Schedule and conduct periodical user training to engineering, operational and production personnel. Requirements: Master/bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, IT or equivalent. Experience in implementing and sustaining a leading-edge Real Time Dispatching & Production Scheduling system in a semiconductor manufacturing environment is mandatory for this position. At least 6 years of experience in working with any industry leading scheduling-dispatching solution like Critical Manufacturing, AMAT APF RTD or Inficon/FPS products. Experienced in Project Management - Ability to define & control project scope, schedule, risk and issues handling. Able to rely on experience and judgment to influence, plan, accomplish goals in relation to the dispatching and scheduling implementation A strong understanding of 200mm Semiconductor Wafer Fab manufacturing processes involving planning, scheduling, dispatching and materials management. Familiarity with other key CIM components that support effect Scheduling & Dispatching such as EI, MES, SPC, Resource & Labor Management are highly desired. Familiarity with web technologies such as VB.NET, C#.NET, web services, SOAP and XML. Familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle, MS SQL and PL/SQL statements would be advantageous. A highly inquisitive, logical & intuitive nature with an attention to detail, coupled with creativeness & innovativeness are the traits that would help the candidate to excel in this position while being self-driven and a strong team player would bring them places. Good command of the English language and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of people is desirable.
