is responsible for managing student welfare, discipline, and engagement while supporting the operational and administrative functions of the Scholar Management Department. This role requires a high degree of responsibility, interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain a positive and safe environment for all scholars within the institution's hostel and academic ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
A. Scholar Management & Administration
Assist in the implementation of scholar management policies, procedures, and welfare programs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, attendance, and performance reports.
Monitor student discipline, behavior, and adherence to college rules and regulations.
Support the Scholar Management Lead in planning and executing student engagement activities, counseling sessions, and motivational programs.
Coordinate with academic and operations departments to ensure students' academic and personal needs are met effectively.
Prepare reports and updates for management review regarding student progress and issues.
B. Hostel & Warden Duties
Oversee day-to-day hostel operations, including room assignments, maintenance requests, and cleanliness inspections.
Ensure compliance with hostel safety, security, and health regulations.
Act as the first point of contact for student-related matters within the hostel premises.
Conduct routine checks and maintain discipline, ensuring a conducive living environment.
Handle student disputes or disciplinary issues and escalate major concerns to the Scholar Management Lead when necessary.
Liaise with Operations and Security teams to ensure hostel facilities are well-maintained and safe.
C. Student Welfare & Support
Provide basic guidance and emotional support to students, ensuring their well-being and adjustment to campus life.
Assist in organizing welfare programs, orientation sessions, and student development initiatives.
Foster a supportive and inclusive community environment within the hostel and campus area.
D. General & Other Duties
Perform administrative duties and any other tasks as assigned by the Scholar Management Lead or management.
Represent the department in inter-departmental meetings or student events when required.
Ensure confidentiality and integrity in handling all student-related information and institutional data.
