Job Title: Science & Mathematics Teacher

Job Summary:

UCSI Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate

School Teacher

with expertise in

Science and Mathematics

. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that foster curiosity, analytical thinking, and a strong foundation in STEM. This position requires both subject mastery and a commitment to nurturing students' intellectual and personal growth within an internationally-minded school community.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver

high-quality, engaging lessons

in

Science

(Lower and/or Upper Secondary) and

Mathematics

in alignment with the school's curriculum framework (e.g., Cambridge IGCSE, national curriculum, or equivalent). Design and implement

comprehensive lesson plans

, teaching materials, and assessments that promote deep understanding and application of scientific and mathematical concepts. Foster a

student-centered, inquiry-driven learning environment

that encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and independent learning. Use a range of

teaching methodologies and digital tools

to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement. Monitor and assess student progress, provide

constructive feedback

, and differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners. Integrate

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

in Science, Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline. Recognised

teaching qualification

(e.g., Diploma in Education, B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent). At least

2 years of teaching experience

in Science and/or Mathematics at the secondary school level. Strong subject knowledge, classroom management, and communication skills. Ability to

motivate and engage students

of varying abilities and cultural backgrounds. Experience with

international curricula

(e.g., Cambridge IGCSE) is highly desirable. Proficiency in

educational technology

(e.g., Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, online simulations). Commitment to

continuous professional growth

and innovation in teaching and learning. Passion for promoting

STEM education

and interdisciplinary learning.
