To plan, organise and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfil their potential in all aspects of Biology and investigative Science

To attain IGCSE results that raise and promote school profile.

Teaching Duties and Responsibilities

Planning and preparing for students' learning

1. Plan appropriately using knowledge and understanding of the Cambridge International curriculum and UK national curriculum

2. Keep abreast of contemporary pedagogical approaches and work to implement best practice.

3. Possess appropriate content knowledge.

4. Have an understanding of students' needs and abilities and design appropriate learning experiences.

5. Identify appropriate learning outcomes for students.

6. Plan and implement effective assessment for/of learning which enhances outcomes

for students.

Creating an effective learning environment

1. Create a respectful classroom environment.

2. Establish an effective rapport with students and colleagues.

3. Establish a culture for learning.

4. Establish and maintain effective classroom management.

5. Support students socially, emotionally and academically.

6. Reinforce and reward positive behaviours in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
