Job Description

To provide Science tuition for the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint, IGCSE, and A-Level syllabus For Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Science (0097) For IGCSE Physics (0625), Chemistry (0620), Biology (0610). For A-Level Physics (9702), Chemistry (9701), Biology (9700). Prepare lesson materials, such as handouts and quizzes. Assess and monitor students' progress throughout teaching sessions. Provide updates to the Principal on the students' progress whenever necessary.

Job Requirement

Applicants must possess at least an Advanced Diploma/Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Certificate or other relevant qualifications in the Science-related field. Applicants must have at least

3 years

of working experience as a private tutor or teacher in any educational institution. Applicants with experience in teaching Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Science, Cambridge IGCSE, and/or A-Level Science subjects for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are an advantage. Applicants must have a good command of the English language. Strong proficiency in Bahasa and/or Mandarin is an added advantage. Applicants must be comfortable teaching in a physical and online environment. Applicants must be well-versed in using a variety of software, tools, and Google Classrooms. Applicants must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse team. Applicants are required to do a lesson demonstration (15-30 minutes) upon request. Details regarding the lesson demonstration will be disclosed once the interview has been confirmed.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: RM40.00 - RM70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.5 - 6 per week
