Seeking Creative Scriptwriter for a Programme in Arabic We are seeking a creative, innovative, and experienced scriptwriter to join our production team for a programme in Arabic. As a scriptwriter, you will play an important role in creating compelling narratives and scripts that capture the vision and direction of the designated project. You will work closely with a team of producers and directors to develop stories that engage audiences and drive production success. Key Responsibilities Rundown & Style Advise and consult with the production team on the development of original concepts and ideas that align with the project\'s mission and vision. Conduct extensive research on project topics and gather information from credible sources. Review and provide feedback on scripts that tell engaging stories, create memorable characters, and capture the attention of audiences. Offer suggestions for developing engaging and informative dialogue that accurately reflects the themes and subject matter of projects. Ideate and write graphic pullouts that will appear on the screen as visual aids to support the project\'s message and enhance the viewer\'s understanding. Stay up-to-date with current events and trends in the industry to provide advice on scripts that are relevant and timely. Scripting Write compelling scripts that tell engaging stories, create memorable characters, and capture the attention of audiences. Develop engaging and informative dialogue that accurately reflects the themes and subject matter of the projects. Collaborate with directors and producers to revise and refine scripts to ensure they align with the vision for the project. Attend meetings and participate in brainstorming sessions with other creative professionals to develop new ideas and scripts. Adhere to project timelines and deadlines, ensuring that scripts and reviews are completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards. Requirements Education and Experience : A bachelor\'s degree in film, creative writing, journalism, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in writing factual scripts for film, television, or other media. Exceptional Writing Skills : The ability to write compelling and engaging scripts that tell a story and capture the attention of the audience. Strong attention to detail, exceptional grammar, and the ability to write in different styles and formats are also essential. Research and Analytical Skills : The ability to conduct extensive research on project topics and gather information from credible sources to support script development. Must be able to analyze data and identify key themes, ideas, and trends. Creative Problem-Solving : The ability to think creatively, generate new ideas, and solve problems. Must be able to work collaboratively with the production team to develop and refine scripts that align with the project\'s vision and direction. Time Management and Organizational Skills: The ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Industry Knowledge : A good understanding of the film and television industry, including current trends, popular genres, and audience preferences. Must stay up-to-date with industry developments and be able to provide relevant advice on scripts that are timely and relevant. Must have experience in Gulf culture and history. Communication and Collaboration : The ability to work collaboratively with a team of writers, producers, and directors, offering constructive feedback and suggestions to improve scripts. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to present ideas effectively to a wide range of stakeholders. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in one or more languages around the MENA countries is preferred.
