C&S brings together more than 550 experts covering the full range of sustainability topics, including biodiversity, circular economy, decarbonization, sustainable agriculture, transition financing, water management, and other ESG topics\xe2\x80\x94across all sectors\xe2\x80\x94to support our clients around the world.

What You\'ll Do

BCG is looking for Expert Consultants, Project Leaders or Associate Directors in power and energy transition technologies with a focus on the renewables, grid modernization, and energy storage.


As an Expert at BCG, you are integrated into a BCG team and leverage deep expertise on projects that reshape businesses. You will be given end-to-end responsibility for large and complex "modules" within a BCG project, may lead small but high-impact teams to drive results for our clients, and contribute to BCG\xe2\x80\x99s intellectual capital. You will work closely with clients to understand their issues, create strategies for change, and win buy-in for recommendations, while also collaborating with colleagues on complex client issues.


You will:

• Play a leading role in helping our clients evaluate the potential of energy transition learning solutions through case leadership & execution, client development, and intellectual property and product creation
• Evaluate state-of-the-art and emerging solutions for the technological readiness, attributes and impact on adoption of new systems in renewables, grid modernization and energy storage
• Project future availability and price, and key levers affecting the factors for the transformation
• Team with systems leads to maintain tools that track and forecast supply and demand across value chain
• Develop perspectives on emerging partnerships and go-to-market actions by hardware, software and service providers to provide power/energy transition solutions
• Contribute to the continuous development of BCG\xe2\x80\x99s knowledge, capabilities and intellectual property
• Build internal affiliation and capability on power/energy transition solutions specifically and Climate and Sustainability more generally
• Build connections to regional and global power/energy transition experts

What You\'ll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for exceptional talent from consulting or industry to join us. You would typically:

• Have deep understanding of power and energy systems, technological development in renewables, grid modernization, and/or energy storage
• Ability to develop leading edge business models, frameworks for analysis and long-term business strategies that maximize shareholder value
• Ability to thrive in a hypothesis-based environment where inductive rather than deductive reasoning is the norm
• Proven ability to manage client engagements, client relationships and provide thought leadership to teams, owning the responsibility for the quality of engagements (as appropriate based on tenure)
• Excellent communication skills to be able to explain complex industry concepts in non-technical terms
• Relevant tertiary qualifications from a top tier institution(s); Master\'s degree, MBA or PhD preferred
• Fluency in English is a must
• Fluency in any ASEAN language is a plus
