Work you\'ll do

Responsibilities:

Assists in developing, maintaining and updating policies, processes and procedures to comply with organizational requirements, ISO 27001 compliance requirements and information technology security best practices.

Performs routine and on-demand system audits and vulnerability assessments, including system and device security patch compliance status, user account activity, network resource, configuration, etc. and reports on compliance against vulnerability management requirements.

Prepares routine briefings and reports of the organization\'s security posture as indicated by a wide range of information technology security tools.

Analyzes and monitors security violations, intrusion detection and vulnerability reports and collaborates with information technology staff across Southeast Asia to coordinate and remediate security vulnerabilities.

Acts as an incident handler investigating and mitigating possible security exceptions and incidents (e.g., identify proper investigative approach, conduct interviews, evidence preservation, transportation, computer forensic analysis, and case management).

Participates in information security awareness and training initiatives to educate workforce about information risks; fostering a culture that considers information security in day to day operations.

Participate in global projects to enhance security posture.

Utilizes established processes and tools to focus on threat identification, analysis, and remediation using a wide range of security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, malware analysis, content filtering, data loss prevention, application firewalls and vulnerability scanners.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

CompTIA Security+, ITIL v3, Microsoft Certified Professional, experience with Symantec Web Security Service (WSS).

At least three (3) years of information security related experience, in areas such as: security operations, incident analysis, vulnerability management, and system patching.

Strong, clear and effective oral and written English skills.

Experience with developing security policy, processes and procedures.

Experience with McAfee and Cylance products is a plus.

Ability to be effective in a team environment (across geographic locations), presenting issues, clearly explaining issues, and ability to come to an agreed upon resolution of the various security concerns/needs of the organization.

Demonstrating a commitment to learning, development and teamwork. Emphasis will be placed on working with team resources and colleagues throughout the organization.

Ability to anticipate and respond to changing priorities, and operate effectively in a dynamic environment, requiring flexibility and responsiveness to organizational security needs.

Well-developed analytic, qualitative, and reasoning skills with demonstrated problem solving abilities.

Solid understanding of security practices, available technologies and current products.

Experience with various security monitoring and assessment tools, such as DLP, CASB, SIEM, Qualys, etc.

Software Knowledge: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
