About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Personal Financial Services

We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for Secured Loan monthly financial & Strategy update
• Responsible for long term strategy and implementation of initiatives
• Work closely with PARM team to perform segmentation analysis and identify opportunity to revise/change existing policies/process/procedure to ensure utmost benefit to the business.
• Develop marketing strategies to support acquisition and portfolio management.
• Drive business through effective coordination amongst Sales Channels, PFS Credit, Retail Loan Operations, Operations, Risk etc to smooth operation and support for product and marketing programs launched.
• Work with stakeholder on new enhancements/projects arising from BNM or business requirement ( including preparing test script and Conduct user testing on current systems, new systems and future enhancement. Verify the appearance of the testing output to ensure it meets the requirements of the project / enhancement objective.
• Respond to system-specific matters, including but not limited to, production issues, periodic regression tests (health check / DR exercise) and maintenance
• Assist users on exceptional issues/handling pertaining to mortgage products to avoid customer issues.
• Work closely with the product managers to maintain and update respective products sales procedures / conduct periodic review with other stakeholders and seek signoff.

Job Requirements

• Strong financial skill & knowledge and understanding of the guideline and regulations.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills to work with all stakeholders.
• Possesses good presentation skills
• Possesses good computer skills such as Microsoft Excel (Pivot) and Power Points
• In-depth knowledge of Financial and profitability Mortgage Business Products and Services including relevant rules, regulations and guidelines
• Broad awareness of market trends and industry developments and the ability to interpret these within their product market plans to drive changes and development
