Secured Litigation - To handle all NPL accounts and to initiate legal actions (foreclosure / litigation) in order improve NPL and to increase Recovery/ Upgrades of NPL accounts for Secured portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities:Financial * Lead the team on legal foreclosure matters to achieve Department KPI\xe2\x80\x99s on delinquencies/ NPL/ NPF and specific provisions for Secured products.
Assist Unit Head in managing legal expenses thru review of Panel Legal Fes following Standard Legal Fee Structure.
Contribute to meet department financial KPI and departmental cost.
Compliance * Ensure strict adherence to all credit policies, procedures, BNM guidelines, compliance, information security, etc.
Submission of CSA / RRSA and other relevant reports within due date.
Processes * Manage NPLs of Secured portfolio including instituting legal actions i.e. Foreclosure end to end process and civil actions.
Review and ensure all legal and foreclosure proceedings is acted in timely manner and within legal timeline benchmarks.
Manage inquiries/follow-up\'s related to NPL accounts assigned to panel solicitors and manage legal escalations.
Liaising with panel solicitors from various states with understanding of foreclosure proceeding practices of different states in Malaysia including Sabah and Sarawak.
Manage solicitors\' requests via correspondences & emails and vetting through courts\' papers and Land Offices\' documents before execution by bank\'s Power of Attorney.
Assist Unit Head to manage staff resources and ensure smooth daily operations of the team.
Manage and attend Land Enquiries fixed by Land Offices.
Assist Unit Head to do research and find the solutions in solving matters pertaining to bankruptcy, deceased and land matters including but not limited to removal of private caveat, charges, forfeiture of land and compensation for land acquisition.

QualificationsSkill Sets / Experiences:
Hands-on experience in Collection, Recovery & Litigation process
Basic knowledge and practical experience on litigation process and understanding of regulatory requirements
Practical knowledge and experience on secured & unsecured products and collection systems
Good negotiation skills
Good communication and inter-personal skill
Strong in process and workflow management to achieve higher efficiencies
Able to work individually and co-operate as a team
Good time management
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of Collections experience in handling Foreclosure activities / Secured Litigation especially Mortgage.
Proficient in English and good writing skills.
Able to motivate team towards achieving goals.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Words, Excel, and PowerPoint
