Title: Security

Employment Type: Permanent/Full time

Reports to: Management

Salary Range: up to RM2,000 depends on the experience level.

Work Hours: 9.30 a.m until 8.00 p.m

Location: Dubai Jewellers, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur

Job Overview

At Dubai Jewellers Sdn Bhd, thousands of people come and go through our doors each day to shop for jewelleries and gold. We're looking for a highly competent security officer to join our team to monitor the premises and protect our valued staffs, customers and inventory. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience as a security officer or guard, as well as training in self-defense and first aid. He or she will have a sharp eye with quick reaction time in the detection of any suspicious or criminal behavior, and prevention of theft or vandalism.

Although you'll be working under the direct supervision of a security officer for your assigned shift, we will rely upon you for the protection, safeguarding and security of assets, personnel, customers, tenants, visitors, and other people and property on our grounds

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible of enforcing the safety of properties of all outlets. Immediate reaction for the recovery of asset in the secured area. Ensure welfare of all stakeholders, including and not limited to customers and employees are well taken care off. . Responsible for the appearance and maintenance of entrance (e.g., jewelleries arrangement, cleanliness of premises etc) Acts as the first impression of outlet, and greet all customers Enforce all the rules and regulations as set forth by Unique Gold Palace Sdn Bhd in a just, prudent, fair, reasonable, and impartial manner within the confines of and consistent with local, state, and federal laws. Must be fully aware of his/her limitations, prohibitions, and responsibilities in carrying out these duties. To remain knowledgeable of current law enforcement and security practices and administration. Familiar with all policies, rules, regulations, directives, orders, and procedures as set forth by Unique Gold Palace Sdn Bhd. To be responsible in handling and solving all issues in regard to authorities (e.g., DBKL, PRDM etc) Performing other relevant and ad hoc duties as and when needed.
