Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Security Engineer to work closely with our development team, product managers and third-party groups to ensure our company\'s Digital Assets are secured.

Job Responsibilities:

• Secure our Privacy and Security assessments of platform, data and clients through code reviews, automation, dynamic testing and security audits.
• Implement privacy and security controls and checkpoints to detect and prevent issues early in the software development lifecycle.
• Own and perform application security vulnerability management.
• Assist in the creation of security training.
• Assist in the development of automated security testing to validate that secure coding best practices are being used.
• Work with engineering and product teams in the design phase of products and features, conducting threat modelling and performing security architecture and design reviews.
• Help engineering and product teams to understand compliance and privacy requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience identifying security issues through code review.
• Experience in privacy, compliance and security audits.
• Familiarity with common security libraries, security controls, and common security flaws.
• Basic development or scripting experience and skills.
• A basic understanding of network and web-related protocols (such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, protocols).
• A basic understanding of the Nginx web server
• A basic understanding of PHP and Laravel framework
• A basic understanding of MySQL database
• Excellent and professional communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to articulate complex topics in a clear and concise manner.
• Experience in Vulnerability Scanning Tools

Working arrangement: Hybrid with 2 days work from office/co-working spaces (Mon, Tues) and 3 days work from home (Wed, Thurs, Fri).
