As a
Security Engineer
, you will have the opportunity to implement and administer cutting-edge information security technology solutions and controls. Your responsibilities will include securing web gateways, endpoint protection platforms, and endpoint detection and response systems. Additionally, you will contribute to vulnerability management, privilege management, and network detection response. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will work closely with IT leaders and business units to ensure compliance with security policies, address vulnerabilities, and respond to security incidents.

What do you need to succeed?
-Direct professional experience (implementation, administration and management) in various security technology and platforms (e.g., EDR, SIEM, DLP, Internet Gateway Security, etc.)

-Experience designing and implementing secure networks, systems, and application architecture

-Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods

-Familiarity with cloud technology and security, such as AWS and Azure security, Office 365 security, CASB, and cloud DLP

-Familiarity with Oracle application and database security and identity management

-Familiarity with ISO 27001 and 27002/SOX/NIST CSF/SANS CIS CSS aligned security controls and operations

-Ability to communicate technical security issues to peers and management

-Ability to work alone with minimum supervision/guidance and have strong time management and organizational skills

-Working experience in a global international company with multicultural people, dealing with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and cross-border teams

-Broad understanding of security strategy, technology, and operations

-Implement, operate, and administer information security technology solutions and controls such as Secure Web Gateway, Endpoint Protection Platform and Endpoint Detection and Response, DLP, data encryption solutions, OS hardening, vulnerability management tool, Privilege Management Tool, Network Detection Response, and other Enterprise security tools.

-Collaborate with key stakeholders in different IT functions and business units with shared security responsibilities.

-Maintain a strong understanding of relevant security standards and technology.

-Participate in the selection, implementation, and operation of information security technology and key infrastructure solutions aligned with business objectives, ensuring compliance with security policies, requirements, and regulations.

-Evaluate and propose new security technology to enhance overall systems, network, application, and cloud security, and communicate recommendations to IT team leaders.

-Assess critical IT infrastructure and applications to protect against security exposures. Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments, analyze results, and provide recommendations for vulnerabilities and gaps.

-Report and escalate critical and high severity vulnerabilities, issues, and incidents for management attention and resolution.

-Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions alongside the 24x7 Security Operations Center.

-Collaborate with the cyber breach coach and relevant teams to investigate incidents, develop response strategies, and facilitate recovery.

-Collaborate with technology project teams to identify and define system and application security requirements, ensuring new systems or applications do not introduce unacceptable security risks.

-Provide technical support and expertise for risk management, audit, and compliance activities. Resolve outstanding security and IT audit issues related to security technology, controls, and operations. Escalate issues to management as necessary.

-Contribute to the development of security frameworks, strategies, standards, best practices, procedures, and protocols.

-Recommend security enhancements to mitigate vulnerabilities and automate tasks.

-Perform other assigned duties as required.
