The Information Technology (IT) team plays a key role in providing business enablement throughout ResMed. OT (Operational Technology) Security engineer works closely with the Enterprise Security team to support the organization\xe2\x80\x99s operations in all technical matters regarding OT & Cyber Security controls and requirements. This position will be focused on protecting and enabling modern operating systems and the development and operation of an end-to-end digital supply chain.

OT Security engineer performs and conducts OT assurance activities toward protecting the organization\xe2\x80\x99s information assets and critical infrastructure. This role conducts technical, hands-on, OT cyber security assessments in addition to providing technical assurance capabilities that verify the effectiveness of security controls.

• Conduct infrastructure risk assessment against OT/IT environment. Identify relevant gaps and provide recommended solutions and countermeasures.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests on OT systems to identify security gaps and recommend appropriate remediation measures.
• Implement security projects (such as micro-segmentation or application whitelisting) to minimize the risks in OT and manufacturing environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage security controls for OT systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
• Conduct security architecture reviews against best security practices.
• Conduct configuration assessment against known benchmarks like CIS.
• Create hardening checklists based on industry best practices against products and solutions and conduct configuration assessments against such lists. That could include Firewalls, NDRs, etc.
• Act as a subject matter expert on OT security, providing guidance and mentorship to other team members. Ability to serve as a lead for related engagements.
• Work with internal/external stakeholders building relationships and helping them understand how to successfully address security findings.
• Collaborate with the Operations technical, business, and operational team members on their day-to-day security needs.
• Work with the suppliers on the quality at the source and real-time view of productive capacity and performance.

Preferred:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Engineering, or Business field or equivalent, Diploma with additional relevant experience.
• 5+ years of Information Technology experience.
• Hands-on experience with network security controls like segmentation, access controls, 802.1X, network security monitoring, etc.
• Strong knowledge of OT systems and their unique security requirements
• Have a high aptitude for security technology, specifically network security, segmentation, encryption, and authentication, with further knowledge of endpoint security, intrusion detection, anti-malware, routing, switching, LAN, and WAN being desirable.
• Security certifications like CISSP, CCNP Security, SSCP, Security+, etc. accreditation would be beneficial.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry would be preferred.
• Can demonstrate your problem-solving skills and how this has impacted key wins within your current organization.
• Understand and can demonstrate your ability to build and maintain customer relationships, including your ability to effectively communicate technically to a range of both external and internal stakeholders.
