Job Description

Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises and its occupants.
- Enforce access control procedures by checking identification, permits, and authorizations of individuals entering the premises.
- Prevent unauthorized entry and potential security breaches by maintaining a strong physical presence and vigilance.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including emergencies, and take appropriate action as per established protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property, checking for signs of damage, suspicious activities, or safety hazards.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and other security systems to keep a close eye on the property at all times.
- Report any security-related issues, disturbances, or incidents to the appropriate authorities or supervisors.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries and directions.
- Maintain accurate records and log entries of activities, incidents, and observations during the shift.
- Follow established procedures for locking and unlocking doors, gates, and access points at specified times.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other security personnel and team members to ensure a coordinated security effort.
- Stay updated on security protocols, emergency response procedures, and safety regulations.
- Perform routine checks on security equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain a professional and alert demeanor throughout the shift to deter potential security threats.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the site's security policies and enforce them consistently.
- Remain aware of potential security risks and adapt security measures accordingly.
- Respond to requests for assistance or support from other departments or personnel, as needed.
